My thoughts on Digg.com is that firstly it reminds me of you tube, with the emphasis more on news and current affairs. It is also very current allowing you to view something that was only uploaded five minutes ago.
Well for me who is new to all these type of sites that is impressive. As for if this would be a good way to read the news in the future. I'm sure this is the way things will be going as everone want's news as up to the minute as possible. For example news on the US election
