What I've mainly gained from the 23 things program, is more knowledge of programs and sites that I've previously known about. While discovering a couple of sites that I didn't previously know existed.
As regards to library work, I have gained from the 23 things program. Knowledge about web sites etc, that patrons could possibly ask about/ benefit from. I can also incorporate some of this new knowledge into my library studies course work.
Victoria University could use tools from the 23 things program by; puting information about VU on sites such as facebook, my space and you tube. Or promote sites such as google scholar or feed readers.
Overall I think the 23 things program was worthwhile. Even if some people grumbled that it takes up work time. Possibly it could be done, next time more in a group workshop setting all the time. With just a few tasks to be done at at once but I'm sure everyone picked up at least on new tool.
